Robust and compact circular connectors from one of the industry’s most trusted brands

In brief:

Compact circular connector system with M9x0.5 screw locking mechanism.

M9 IP40 connectors offer pin-counts of 2 to 8 with a current carrying capacity of up to 4A per contact.

The series caters for cable OD’s of up to 5mm, has a wire gauge max. of 0.25mm² and is capable of offering IP40 ingress protection in mated state.

M9 connectors are similar in dimension to the slightly smaller M8 threaded variants which are more established in the industry.

This slight size increase over M8 however opens the connector up to higher pin counts which range from 2-8 with versions offering IP40 or IP67 environmental protection.

The M9 IP40 system offers a solder cup field attachable cable plug and panel receptacle with solder cup or dip solder termination for PCB use. In addition to this there is also the option of panel receptacle with pre-terminated flexible PCB for ultimate convenience.
