Robust multi-pin circular connector system with industry standard RD30 screw locking functionality.
RD30 connectors offer pin-counts from 5 to 24 with a current carrying capacity of up to 20A per contact.
The series caters for cable OD’s of up to 18mm, has a wire gauge max. of 2.50mm² and is capable of offering IP65 ingress protection in mated state or with the use of a protection cover.
The RD30 Power series of connectors are a range of robust circulars with screw locking mating mechanism.
The RD30 is one of the largest connectors in the Binder portfolio and measures 40mm across the coupling nut and has a 100mm + backshell and gland system.
This series can cater for up to 18mm cable OD and has pin counts of 5 (4+PE), 13 (12+PE) and 24.
The system allows for wire gauges of up to 2.5mm² with a rated current of 20A which is a huge increase when compared to some of the smaller setups in the portfolio.
Cable connectors are available in both straight and angled with receptacles being the square flanged variety.
The 5 way layout is terminated by means of screw whereas the 13 and 24 way layouts offer solder cup termination.
