HUMMEL Rail Application Cable Glands

HUMMEL VariaPro Rail cable glands have successfully passed the DIN EN 45545-2 and 45545-3 fire protection standards allowing them to be used to their full capacity without any form of restriction.

The sealing inserts of the VariaPro Rail are made of EDPM which enables the gland to withstand extreme temperatures that other glands may struggle to perform in. This series is able to hold it’s own in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +100°C.

This series has a solid protection from water and dust with an IP Rating of 68 up to 10 bar. The slim structure of the VariaPro is striking and meets the requirements for space saving installation.

Added to this is the ease of installation of the cable gland, in which the EMC connection is already integrated as standard. This means that the series VariaPro is able to take up less space than other glands and it is easier to install allowing for a smooth experience for the customer.

The gland is available in the sizes M12 to M63 and thanks to the intelligent combination of sealing inserts and reducers, VariaPro Rail can accommodate cables of diameters from 2 to 54mm.
