Types of Water Technology Connectors
Water technology and industries call for a wide array of industrial water connector types, each suited to different parts of a system. When selecting, you need to consider the level of ingress protection required, the type of signal or power being transmitted, and the physical environment.
- Circular connectors
A common choice, these connectors offer a robust, secure connection that performs well in exposed or outdoor situations. The sealed design makes them ideal for applications where reliability can’t be compromised, like monitoring or pumping stations. Choose miniature circular connectors if a smaller footprint is needed.
- Waterproof Ethernet and data connectors

- Waterproof D-Sub connectors

The Souriau UTS, UTSX, UTGX, and UTOX series, and the binder 770 series offer waterproof sealing in unmated conditions.

IP69K-rated connectors offer protection against high pressures as well as water ingress. This is relevant in high-pressure and high-temperature environments.
Vibration and shock resistance
Secure locking mechanisms, like bayonet or screw couplings, prevent connections from working loose over time in settings like pumping stations.
