What Is The difference Between PMAFIX And PMAFIX Pro?
The original PMAFIX series already sets a high bar, using a patented safety clip system for fast push-in installation and promising durability with a range of thread types and ingress protection ratings. Here’s how PMAFIX Pro improves on it.
Ingress Protection – The newer PMAFIX Pro series boosts everything that was already excellent about its predecessor, providing the highest water ingress protection ratings with an improved inner sealing element.
PMAFIX Pro systems are also highly resistant to UV rays and weathering – along with IP68 to IP69K ingress protection ratings, this makes them ideal for heavy-duty set-ups.
Quality materials – When it comes to materials, both have fittings made from modified polyamide 6 and threads also made from polyamide 6 or nickel-plated brass, and both are halogen-free and self-extinguishing.
Highly flexible temperature range – While the Pro version aligns with the standard PMAFIX temperature range – which is from -40°C to +105°C and +160°C short-term – PMAFIX Pro can operate in temperatures as low as -50°C.
Impact resistance – When it comes to characteristics, PMAFIX products are highly impact resistant and vibration-proof, with great conduit pull-out strength and compatibility with fine (T) and coarse (G) conduit profiles.
Secure connection fittings – The PMAFIX Pro increases these qualities even further, including the security afforded by screwdriver-only disassembly, as its fittings only lock when sealing elements are completely inserted to ensure reliable assembly and operational safety.
