Hirschmann Valve Connectors Type-B

Belden’s Hirschmann Valve connectors are designed to meet the harsh demands of hard practical day-to-day work in every form. They are square or rectangular in shape and are commonly used on pneumatic, electro-magnetic and hydraulic actuators.

Various components can be built into the housings of valve connectors in instances where they have not been integrated into the application, including:

• Optical status displays
• Rectifiers
• Protective elements

Often used in industrial environments, the Hirschmann valve connector series is available in the three shell sizes – A, B & C. Each shell size includes crimp, screw and solder termination variants.

As the long-standing series has evolved over the years so have the choice of profiles. Type-A connectors have just the one interface whereas Type-B and C have two standards/pin spacing options;

Type-A
EN 175301-803-A Standard (formerly DIN 43650)

Type-B
EN 175301-803-B Standard (formerly DIN 43650). Often referred to as 10mm pin spacing type.

Type-B
Industrial Standard (formerly NEMA standard). Often referred to as 11mm pin spacing type.

Type-C
EN 175301-803-C Standard (formerly DIN 43650). Often referred to as 8mm pin spacing type.

Type-C
Industrial Standard (formerly NEMA standard). Often referred to as 9.4mm pin spacing type.

A number of electronic components, including LED function indicators and rectifiers, are also available for the connectors, as well as the basic 2+PE an 3+PE field attachable versions.
