binder design, develop and manufacture a whole range of M12 series with various coding systems, the most popular being the M12-A coded 713/763 system.
The face of the M12 system uses a M12 x 1mm screw thread to latch together with the mating half and is waterproof in mated condition offering IP67 ingress protection.
The series has a substantial amount of variants with pin counts ranging from 3-12.
Cable connectors are available in both field attachable type with screw, solder, wire clamp or IDC termination and in both straight and angled orientation. There are also many shell type options such as full plastic, plastic body and standard metal or stainless steel coupling area, and full metal shieldable versions. Additionally there is also a large choice of moulded cable connectors in various lengths and specifications.
Panel connectors again offer many varieties including square flange or jam-nut and with solder cup, dip solder and pre-terminated options. Further options include front or rear mounted and shielding sheets and angled pins for PCB use.
Binder also recently added a small sub series to the portfolio known as M12-A coded power which has the same interface but allows for larger wire gauges of up to 1.50mm² and a cable OD of 8-10mm, allowing the power range to be increased to 8A.
