Lumberg Automation M8 A-Coded Series

The Lumberg Automation M8 series is a range of miniature circular sensor and automation connectors with screw-lock coupling.

The connectors are available in 3 and 4 way variants in field attachable, overmoulded cordsets and panel receptacles.

The range is sealed to IP67 in mated condition allowing use in harsh environments.

The M8 series is an engineer’s favourite as it balances a neat and compact shell with practicality and with a variety of options is application friendly.

Overmoulded cable setups have standard lengths of 2, 5 & 10m in both orange PVC and black PUR jacket. Further options include straight and angled, single and double ended and with or without function indicator LED.

These moulded configurations offer especially good protection from moisture and dirt. Due to continual compatibility testing with modern chemical substances, cold lubricants and cleaners they offer a very reliable platform.

Field attachable cable connectors offer optimum flexibility and can be wired up on site without the need of expensive tooling with the use of screw termination cavities. These versions are often fitted to the open-end of a single ended cordset in applications where there is difficulty in planning an exact length in advance. Options include straight or angled and with screw, solder cup IDC termination.

Panel receptacles are available with both dip solder pins for PCB use and, to offer maximum flexibility and reduce assembly time, with pre-terminated wires.
