Conec D-subminiature (d-sub) connector dimensions conform to IEC 60807-2 (formerly DIN 41652) or MIL-C-24308. Additionally, the product line is UL (E202784), CSA (LR 115000-1) and VDE (40000440) approved.
These connectors are deliverable in five standardised housing sizes, with pin counts of 9, 15, 25, 37 and 50.
Conec standard d-subs boast a trapezoidal-shaped shell that performs a number of essential functions, including electrical shielding, mechanical protection and polarisation.
Notably, these types of connector conform with, and are interchangeable with, all other conforming d-sub connectors on the market.
