About this Series

Eaton - Souriau logo

Offering high-quality connector innovations for the renewable energy, automation and aerospace sectors.

In brief:

Robust multi-pin circular connector system with bayonet locking mechanism.

UTGX connectors offer pin-counts from 2 to 19 with a current carrying capacity of up to 40A per contact.

The series caters for cable OD’s of up to 14mm, has a wire gauge max. of 10mm² and is capable of offering IP68/IP69K ingress protection in both mated and unmated state.

Waterproof, shock-proof and UV resistant, the UTGX series can withstand continuous underwater immersion and routine pressure washing. Ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications with a lifespan of up to 27 years in-application, the UL/IEC certified UTGX series connectors are a safe and reliable solution.

The UTGX series can be used in a wide range of configurations and electrical layouts, allowing the user to save space on their equipment.

Much like the UTG, UTS & UT0 series, the new Souriau UTGX Series uses Souriau Trim Trio® contacts: A single design for machined, stamped and formed and highspeed contacts, making it quicker, easier and more cost effective to upgrade.

By using the same contacts, the switch from one connector series to another doesn't require tool or panel cut-out modifications.

Pre-terminated cable assemblies can also be offered to further increase sealing and stress-resistance properties.

For a more detailed description of this connector series please see the manufacturers brochure which is available to download above.
