In brief:

Lightweight multi-pin rectangular connector system with latch locking mechanism.

SMS (Quick Mating) connectors offer pin-counts from 2 to 36 with a current carrying capacity of up to 13A per contact.

The series caters for cable OD’s of up to 24.5mm, has a wire gauge max. of 2.50mm² and is capable of offering IP40 ingress protection in mated state.

The Souriau SMS Quick Mating (known also as Qikmate) series offers a cost effective multiway setup with an easy fit retention latch that allows simple and swift mating and unmating.

The following three sub series in the SMS range open the connectors up to multiple applications and has allowed the product to be designed into a variety of technology including lighting and rail infrastructure.
