Wire up field attachable connectors yourself, easily and flexibly

When wiring machines and systems, field attachable connectors are often used as they can be wired on site without the need for expensive tooling, therefore offering optimum flexibility.

These connectors are often fitted to the open end of a single-ended cordset when there is difficulty in planning an exact length due to changing conditions.

Lumberg Automation’s field attachable cable connectors offer IP67 in mated condition much like the single and double-ended overmoulded cordsets. These connectors offer particularly good protection from dirt and moisture.

These connectors are available in 3, 4, 5 and 8 pole in both genders and with a straight or Right angled body that caters for numerous cable sizes.

In order to offer further flexibility for the user Northern Connectors now also stock the 4 pole (STL225) and 5 pole (STL228) PUR sensor cable for use in conjunction with these field attachable connectors. We can cut this cable to your specific metre length or this can be purchased as a 100m reel. To order these cables please use the following part numbers;

As well as the standard connectors on the attached datasheets, Lumberg Automation also offer versions with a stainless steel threaded joint for use in environments such as food processing and also full metal bodies for shielded applications.
