IP69K

Degrees of Protection - First Digit
The first digit of the IP code indicates the degree that persons are protected against contact with moving parts (other than smooth rotating shafts, etc.) and the degree that equipment is protected against solid foreign bodies intruding into an enclosure.

Degrees of Protection - Second Digit
The second digit indicates the degree of protection of the equipment inside the enclosure against the harmful entry of various forms of moisture (e.g. dripping, spraying, submersion, etc.)

IP69K Explained
6 - Dust tight.
9K - Withstands water from high pressure/steam cleaning.

The IP69K standard requires the water pressure to be between 1160-1450 PSI, at a rate of 3.69-4.2 gallons/minute, and at a temperature of 176º degrees Fahrenheit. The nozzle from which the water is sprayed is between 3.9” and 5.9” from the angles of 0º, 30º, 60º, and 90º degrees, for a duration of 30 seconds for each angle.
