Founded in 1983 Northern Connectors is a privately owned Distributor of Electronic and Electro-Mechanical Components and has grown to establish itself as a highly respected specialist distributor.

We are a franchised stockist for many of the industry’s leading manufacturers including Alpha Wire, Binder, Conec, GTK, Harting, Hirschmann, Lumberg, Normek, Radiall, Souriau (Burndy) and Weidmuller.

Within the Souriau connector franchise we stock one of the largest selections of 'Trim Trio' connectors in the UK. In addition to these we have an extensive selection of Circular and Multipole Interfaces.

We also offer a comprehensive range of Interconnection connectors and accessories and UL approved Multicore cables and cable protection products.

We are a Franchised Assembly Distributor for Souriau 840, UT0, UT0W and UTS ranges of connectors and offer a 48 hour despatch service from receipt of order for stocked planforms.

1983
Northern Connectors Supplies and Services established at Jackson Street, St. Helens in a 500 sq ft unit, with Burndy franchise.
1988
Company extend unit at Jackson Street to 1000 sq ft.
1989
Northern Connectors become a Limited Company.
1990
Sign franchise distribution agreement with Radiall.
1993
Move into new 3000 sq ft purpose built premises at Abbotsfield Road, St. Helens, situated in one acre of land.
1993
FCI award Northern special award for Outstanding Sales Performance and Growth.
1994
Mr John Stoker Regional Director of the Government Office for Merseyside officially opens Northern’s new premises.
1995
ISO 9001 : 2000 accreditation awarded.
1996
Northern sign franchise distribution agreement with Weidmuller.
1997
Receive CIE/ECIF Excellence in Distribution Award.
1998
Sign franchised distribution agreement with Harting.
1998
FCI award Northern - special award in recognition of 15 Years Loyalty and Exception Success.

Receive Supplier of the Year Award from Park Air Electronics.
